Unexpected Front Document Code
A preprinted response sheet can optionally contain its own document code.
This document code (when used) is a sequence of preprinted lozenges usually across the top of a sheet beside a clear area. If during scanning an unexpected document code is registered or an expected document code is missing then an Unexpected Front Document Code error can occur.
Check that the correct type of response sheet is being fed and that there are no unexpected marks on or damage to the response sheet which may be interfering with document code.
