Merging Scanned Data
If matching questionnaires are ever scanned into more than one RSQ (see Speedquest Data Files) and the need to analyse the data as a single set arises the RSQs can be merged.
Using Speedquest to merge existing RSQs requires a number of steps.
For each RSQ to be merged a raw data export file must be produced (see Exporting Data).
A new RSQ must be opened. This should be based on one of the RSQs the data was exported from (see Creating Questionnaires).
The newly created RSQ must be prepared for importing. This is the same as being prepared for scanning. For a preprinted questionnaire (see Preprinted vs Overprinted) save the RSQ (see Saving Questionnaires). For an overprinted questionnaire overprint at least one questionnaire (see Overprinting Questionnaires).
In the Process menu, select Import.
The Import dialog is displayed.

Give the batch an appropriate name (see Using Batches During Scanning).
Select the appropriate previously created raw data export files.
Repeat the steps from "In the Process menu, select Import." for each raw data export file.
The imported data can then be viewed in the same way as scanned data (see Viewing Scanned Questionnaires).
If the format of the raw data export files as they relate to the RSQ is understood a file generated from any other source could be imported (merged) into an existing Speedquest RSQ.
