Modifying Scanned Questionnaires

Data Editing Interface

Scanned questionnaire data details are modified through the data editing interface. This is the main panel in Speedquest's view scanned questionnaires window. The example above has one scanned questionnaire selected with a popup menu showing.

The data editing interface displays one row for each successfully scanned questionnaire. The details displayed for each questionnaire are summarised in columnar form. It is possible to show or hide columns as required. In appropriate circumstances given columns will remain permanently hidden (in the example above a column headed Lookup is hidden, the response sheet used does not use lookups).

A brief description of the details displayed in each of the columns can be found by clicking on the headings in the data editing interface diagram above. The Lookup column, which is not displayed in the diagram, identifies lookup data scanned from this questionnaire.

The question editing interface popup menu has all the same menu options as the dropdown from the main menu Data option.

A brief description of the menu options available and their respective functions follows
  • Edit - to edit scanned responses (see Editing Scanned Responses).
  • Delete - to remove scanned questionnaires (see Deleting Scanned Questionnaires).
  • Filter - to filter scanned questionnaires (see Filtering Scanned Questionnaires).
  • Filtered Shown - to show and hide filtered data (see Filtering Scanned Questionnaires).
  • Rename Batch - to modify a batch title (see Renaming Scanned Batches)
  • Batch Data Edit - to edit scanned responses for all the questionnaires in a batch (see Editing Scanned Batches).
