Modifying Questionnaires

Question Editing Interface
Questionnaire details are modified through the question editing interface. This is one panel in Speedquest's view questionnaire details window. The example above has one text area selected with a popup menu showing.
The question editing interface displays one row for each text area defined for the current response sheet. The details displayed for each text area are summarised in columnar form. It is possible to show or hide columns as required. In appropriate circumstances given columns will remain permanently hidden (in the example above a column headed Lookup is hidden, the response sheet used does not use lookups).
A brief description of the details displayed in each of the columns can be found by clicking on the headings in the question editing interface diagram above. The Lookup column, which is not displayed in the diagram, identifies any lookup details to be overprinted in this text area.
The way questionnaire details are processed means that under certain circumstances some of the menu options will be unavailable. While unavailable these options will be 'greyed out' (in the example above see the menu option Paste Responses).
The question editing interface popup menu has all the same menu options as the dropdown from the main menu Text option.
A brief description of the menu options available and their respective functions follows
