Change a Question Bank's Description


1. Click on the Bank to be edited.
2. Click   .

This will display the Bank Detail screen.  



3. Change your Question Bank name, file name, and description if required.
  • If you wish to change the default folder where the QB is held Browse will display a list of available folders.
     
    4.  The Default Question Style can only be set when a new bank is created.  Choose from the drop down list to specify the style of question required for the Bank.  Depending on the choice of question style you choose, the default options will change - all options are described below.

    5. Change Question number style and Item number style if you wish to specify a different system of numbering and way of displaying the items,
    For example
    Numeric 1,2,3,  Roman i,ii,iii or Upper case A,B,C,D  

    6. The Separator prompt allows you to redefine how you wish to separate the item numbers from their text
    For example
    A.  B.  C.  or A:  B:  C:  where a full stop .  or a colon : is the separator.

    7. The screen will also allow you to change the default number of items in a question, and to change the default values for:
         correct score
         incorrect score
         void score

    8. For OSCE stations the default Borders and Scores settings can be defined.

    9. Click on OK to confirm changes.

    Note: The Default Item Style, Status and Audit file functions are not available for this version of Question Bank
