Selecting Questions for an Examination


Once the Examination has been created the next step will be to select questions from the bank to add to the Examination.

1. Open the required Examination.  See Open an existing Examination if more help is required here.

2. From the screen displayed click on
  • or Question from the menu bar followed by Add from the drop down menu.
     
    This will display the Question Selector screen.



    3. Items may be chosen to be selected from any bank available.
    To select a bank click the down arrow key to the right of the Bank entry box.  A list of banks will appear. Click on the appropriate bank to be searched.

    There are two methods of selecting questions for an examination.
  • Quick Search - Items within the bank may be selected by either their number, category, keyword or newness.
     
  • Full Search - For a more comprehensive search method click the tab marked Full Search.
     
    4. Once the all search criteria have been entered click on OK to confirm.

    If the search was successful all the selected questions matching the search criteria are displayed on the Question Preview screen.  If no Items are found a message informs the User.
