Change Naming Conventions


Descriptive names used in the software can be redefined depending on what is most appropriate for the examination. For example an examination administrator may use the term 'Item' to refer to the question stem rather than the default description of 'Question'.

1. Click on Configure from the top of the screen followed by Options.

2. Choose the Objects tab from this screen.




3. The following terms may be renamed:
  •  Bank
  •  Examination
  •  Category
  •  Question
  •  Item
  •  Marker Question
  •  Omit
  • Options
     
    4. Choose the Fields tab from this screen.



    5. The following terms may be renamed:
  •  Correct Response
  •  Synopsis
  •  Skill
  • Subject
     
    4. Click OK to confirm details
