What to do in the event of a faulty close down
If the software was unable to shut down properly and an error message appears when trying to restart it, please ensure the following is carried out before further work continues-
1. Click on Options from the menu bar at the top of the screen followed by Database Maintenance.
The User will be prompted to ensure that no one else is using the software at the time. If that is correct click OK. The Database Maintenance window will now open.
2. Choose the Pack Tables option, and click OK.
Packing the database tables may take several minutes, particularly for a large database.
Note: These are administrator functions only.
It is now safe to resume work.
