Terms Used


Throughout the help files the term "Question" refers to an examination item or question stem each of which has an associated number of options or items.

For example, a question found in a category headed Post-operative pain may have 5 items.

The question stem text would read -
 
2.  A 48 year old haemophiliac has had a total knee replacement.  Select the most appropriate method of post operative pain relief.    

Followed by the five items

         A.  Intramuscular opiod
         B.  Epidural local anaesthetic - infusion
         C.  Intercostal nerve block
         D.  Subcutaneous opiod infusion
         E.  Wound infiltration
