Teams are an effective mechanism for producing a set of work that enables people to carry out tasks or activities that are more than one person can normally achieve. It is widely accepted that a team, which is effectively managed has increased self confidence and functions more effectively.
Using tools to help identify the effectiveness of a team and to analyse the criteria for the levels of participation, as well as behaviors and attitude of staff involved, is critical. Feedback tools are important as they become part of the scenery employed to gain evidence and information about a particular situation, project, or set of tasks, that may impact on a team’s performance.
