Add a Barcode

Using the Barcode Wizard, in the Designer Tools Palette, you can easily add barcodes to your surveys. KeyPoint can generate its own barcodes. Or alternatively, simply print and attach your own barcode labels onto your paper surveys. When you scan the completed surveys into KeyPoint, the code is
stored in the relevant KeyPoint file.

Offline Surveys*

Now you can use offline technology to collect feedback anywhere – even when there’s no 3G or Wi-Fi connection.

Mobile Surveys without Wi-Fi
Collect feedback using handhelds or kiosks regardless of network
connectivity. Use this offline feature to gather responses remotely, and
then when you do go back online, KeyPoint will automatically upload
the captured data to the master survey.

Flexible Data Collection
KeyPoint 6 expands on the flexibility of multi-mode surveys (e.g. web,
email, paper, kiosk, handheld) in previous versions of the software.
Not only can you go offline to collect your survey responses, you can
now store location data in each response, hide the information bar and
auto save partially completed surveys.

Fast Turn-around
By configuring the Data Entry software you can automatically upload
captured responses to the master survey, giving the most up to date
feedback for reporting.

Run from your Network
Use our hosting service SurveyServer as your offline server, or if you’d
prefer to keep everything in-house purchase the KeyPoint Offline Server
application enabling you to host surveys on your own network.

Easy-to-use wizards let you add elements such as
navigation buttons and question tables to your surveys. 

New Navigation Button Wizard
KeyPoint 6 features a new Button Wizard, giving you greater control
over the appearance of your electronic surveys. Not only can you
quickly and easily add navigation buttons anywhere on your survey page,
you can choose from a range of button styles and even the text for the
buttons can be customised.

Question Design in One Place
You'll get a lot more done with the new consolidated Question Wizard.
Simply select which question style you want using the Wizard and away
you go. A preview is displayed along with hints and tips to get you off to
a great start. Since everything's in the same place, you can now spend
more time creating your survey and less time switching between windows.

Improved Quick Analysis Wizard
Produce a report in just 3 clicks! KeyPoint 6 makes it quicker and
easier to analyse results, and produce attractive tables, charts and
graphs for reporting.

Redesigned Icons
All the toolbar icons in KeyPoint 6 have been redesigned. They are easier

Add Animations
Create captivating electronic surveys by adding animations. Animations
add movement and a touch of fun – ideal for engaging with children.
You can import animated .GIF files in just a few clicks.

Image-based Tick Boxes
Make your multiple choice questions as impressive as the rest of your
survey. KeyPoint 6 provides new image-based tick boxes, in larger sizes,
adding appeal and depth to your survey. You can choose from a selection
of alternative tick boxes, in a wide range of sizes.

Make your Survey Speak
KeyPoint 6 includes a Text to Speech function, within the Data Entry
module, ideal for use on mobile devices. It enables respondents to have
survey questions spoken to them. Simply hover the cursor over text to
activate speech. To stop speech, move cursor away from text.

Page by Page Navigation

Use the new Page by Page navigation option, in Responses, to view a survey one page at a time. A new floating palette is displayed which has a back a page, next page and save button.

Navigation Buttons
KeyPoint 6 expands on navigation button functionality. Enjoy more control
over the positioning, appearance and text of navigation buttons. Not only
can you position the buttons on the survey page itself, you can choose
from a range of new button styles - in varying colours, shapes and sizes.
If you prefer, you can also edit the text on the buttons.
