White Test Error
Why
The software checks that the scanner reads no marks on fixed places on the form, to check for the correct operation of the scanner. This is called the 'white test'.
Action
If this test fails, check that the sheet is not damaged, and that there are no extraneous marks in the dashed lines along the top and bottom of both sides of the form. If the sheet is in good condition, it may be that the scanner needs recalibrating. See the scanner documentation for details on how to do this.
