Step 5 - Configure the communications
To configure the communications between your computer and scanner you will need the sheet titled - LR200 Host Port Communications Configuration Sheet provided with your scanner.
1. Turn on the scanner and insert the configuration sheet facing upwards with the clock tracks towards the front of the machine.
2. Press and hold down both buttons under the LED display until the Background Menu is displayed. This then gives you information about your scanner and the sheet counts etc.
3. Press the button to continue through the menu lists until you find the Utilities Menu. Press Yes to this menu.
4. Continue to press the No button until you find the item Com Configuration?'. Press yes to this function.
5. Continue to press the No button until you find the item 'Scan Config Sheet?'. Press yes to this function
The sheet will be fed and a message confirming that the configuration was successful will be shown. You can now exit this menu.
