Step 4 - Calibrate the scanner

To calibrate or align the scanner you will need the calibration sheets provided with your scanner.

1. Turn on the scanner and insert the (5) calibration sheets as directed by the arrows on the sheet

Then enter the utilities menu from the display at the front of the scanner by following the steps below:

2. Press and hold down both buttons under the LED display until the Background Menu is displayed. This then gives you information about your scanner and the sheet counts etc.

3. Press the button to continue through the menu lists until you find the Utilities Menu. Press Yes to this menu.

4. Continue to press the No button until you find the item 'Top Head Calibrate'. Press yes to this function.

5. You will be asked to insert the sheets and press start to feed them.

A message confirming that the calibration was successful will be shown. You can now exit this menu
