Custom Export Step 3
From this window choose the options for the file layout.
These options are -
The field names area defines whether the first record in the exported file will contain the names of the exported fields. Check the top box to export field names to export the names as they are and, if required, the bottom box to convert the names to 8 character field names suitable for importing into SPSS
The field delimiter area allows selection of the character placed between fields.
The record delimiter area allows selection of what is placed between records. This can be CR which denotes carriage return, LF which denotes line feed or both.
