Record Structure Area
The record structure area allows the relevant record structure to be selected, either fixed length fields or delimited fields. The correct one will depend on the intended use of the exported file, however most analysis packages and spreadsheets accept delimited files with a comma or tab delimiter.
The field names area defines whether the first record in the exported file will contain the names of the exported fields.
The field delimiter area allows selection of the character placed between fields.
The string delimiter area allows selection of the character placed around field data to designate textual data, this is usually single or double quotes.
