Import Candidate Listings from Database
The Path box shows either the name of the directory containing the database file to import from, or a pre-defined database path which is a database alias registered using the BDE configuration utility provided with Multiquest.
If the database file is dBase or Paradox, choose the directory containing the file by clicking on the Browse button.
If you are using another type of database, select the database alias name, this will need to be set up when MultiQuest is installed, for further information contact Speedwell.
The Table box contains the name of the import file (if dBase or Paradox) or the table name within the database. The drop down box will contain a list of database files in the chosen directory, or a list of tables in the chosen database.
In the Cand. No. Field box, choose the field that contains the candidate number, in the Candidate Name box choose the field containing the candidate name.
Other fields may be present depending on the configuration of your system. Select these fields as for the candidate number and name, or choose 'not imported' if this field is not to be filled from the import file.
Click on the OK button when complete.
