Set the page margins to zero and then export to Word.
Why can't I drag questions off the survey design page?
From Keypoint 4 onwards the program makes sure all objects and questions stay on the survey design page. Having objects or questions half on a page or spanning 2 pages causes problems when creating web surveys, and scanning surveys, which is why it is now prevented. Objects and questions can still be dragged between pages and long question tables can be split to span multiple pages.
